Viscosity of Polymers

The RHEOTEK RPV polymer viscometer is suitable for measuring most types of polymers dissolved in solution, according to ASTM methods D789, D4603, D1243, D1601, D2857, D871, D1795.

Petroleum

RHEOTEK instruments are designed to measure the kinematic viscosity of petroleum liquids in accordance with ASTM D445.

The RHEOTEK JETVISC is suitable for measuring aviation turbine fuels at sub-zero temperatures. This fully integrated viscometer analyzer is ideal for measuring Jet A at -20 deg. C, in full compliance with ASTM D445.

The RHEOTEK AUTO KV is suitable for measuring fuels, base oils and formulated oils in full compliance with ASTM D445. The AutoVisc can be combined with teh JETVISC providing an extensive measuring capability.

The RHEOTEK BioVis is suitable for measuring biofuels and distillate fuels using a high precision ASTM Ubbelohde viscometer to determine flow times.

The RHEOTEK HVV-6 is suitable for measuring high viscosity liquids including residual fuels, residuals and bitumens/asphalts.

The RHEOTEK AV-2 is a fully automated capillary viscometer especially suitable for measuring new and used lubricants.
